1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING A PRIZE. 
2. Sweepstakes Period.  The “Sweepstakes Period” begins on or about Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 12:00am PT and will end Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:59pm PT.
3. Eligibility. This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who, at the time of entry, are at least 18 years of age, excluding employees, directors or officers of Sponsor, its parent, affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents, (the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and those who are immediate family members of and/or domiciled with any of the foregoing. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void outside of the 50 United States/District of Columbia and where restricted, taxed or prohibited.
4. How to Enter. An entrant may enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period by responding to the Call for Entry, including: signing up via https://www.hi-chew.com/pages/barnesandnoble. Only one (1) entry per person. Any attempt or suspected attempt to enter more than once per person/Platform, or any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or entry methods not authorized by these Official Rules, shall be deemed as tampering and will void all your entries. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized email account holder at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted comment is considered the authorized account holder.  A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the account associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid email account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. Sponsor’s computer is the sole timekeeping device for this Sweepstakes. By entering, each entrant warrants and represents the following: (a) entrant is the sole and exclusive owner of the entry; (b) the entry is entrant’s own creation; and (c) the entry will not infringe on any rights of any third parties. By entering, entrant agrees to abide by the Official Rules.
5. Odds, Prize.  Subject to verification, 10 winners as designated in the Call for Entry will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received. The prize drawing will be conducted on or about November 15, 2024. Odds of winning a Prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. The potential Prize Winners will each be contacted by the Sponsor via email. Winners will each receive: 1. Exclusive HI-CHEW Product and Merchandise (ARV of each Prize = $100 USD).
6. If a potential winner does not reply to Sponsor’s email within two (2) business days (by 5:00pm PT on that second business day) after Sponsor’s email is sent, his or her entry will be void and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such potential winner and another potential winner will be selected. Sponsor shall make a reasonable number of attempts to award the Prizes. By entering this Sweepstakes, you hereby consent to be contacted by Sponsor and/or its agent for administration of this Sweepstakes and winners may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and where legal, publicity release. Failure to return any or all documents as specified, a prize or prize notification being returned as undeliverable, or failure to comply with any term of these Official Rules may result in disqualification, the Prize being forfeited and Sponsor having no further obligation. An alternate winner will be randomly selected until all prizes are awarded provided there are a sufficient number of eligible entries. Any and all guarantees and warranties on merchandise prizes are subject to the manufacturers’ terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim.
7. Conditions.  By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant consents to the use of his or her entry, name, city of residence and any image or other recording of or that may be taken of the foregoing in publicity carried out by Sponsor and its agent, without further notice or compensation. All entries become the property of Sponsor. By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant  irrevocably, perpetually, and without limitation, grants Sponsor the exclusive right to use, publish, such entry in any way, in commerce, and in any media worldwide in any format (electronic, print, or other) and waives all of his or her rights, in and to the entry.  All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, inappropriate, inconsistent with Sponsor’s image as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of these Official Rules may be disqualified by Sponsor.  Sponsor takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.  Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Sweepstakes.  By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, Sweepstakes Entities (including but not limited to Multiply, LLC), and each of their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with preparing for, travel to and/or participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity; any use, misuse, nonuse, or possession of any prize; any typographical or other error in these Official Rules; any technical malfunctions; and for any claim based on a violation of privacy or publicity rights, defamation, misappropriation, false association, intellectual property infringement or breach of contract.  This Sweepstakes will be administered in accordance with these Official Rules, subject to amendment by Sponsor as set forth herein.  Entrants must comply with these Official Rules, and by participating in the Sweepstakes will be deemed to have received and understood these Official Rules. IN NO EVENT WILL THE RELEASEES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE WEBSITE, THE PLATFORM AND/OR SWEEPSTAKES, DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL ASSOCIATED WITH THE WEBSITE, THE PLATFORM AND/OR SWEEPSTAKES. All disputes arising out of, or in connection with, these Official Rules, a prize and/or the Sweepstakes shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association.  Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis and shall not be consolidated with any claim or controversy of another party.  This arbitration shall be conducted in Los Angeles, California whose laws shall govern any disputes hereunder.  For any matter not subject to arbitration as set forth above, entrants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in or closest to Los Angeles, California and to not raises the defense of forum non-conveniens.
8. Disclaimer.  Sponsor nor Sweepstakes Entities assumes responsibility for failure of the Internet, any platform, app and/or the website during the Sweepstakes Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, platform or app, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend or otherwise modify this Sweepstakes for any reason, including but not limited to, canceling any method of entry or void any entries submitted fraudulently should unauthorized human intervention, or other causes corrupt administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of this Sweepstakes.  In the event of cancellation, Sponsor may elect to identify the winners and award the prizes by way of random drawing from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website, platform, or app or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws.  Should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.  
9. Severability. If any provision(s) of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
10. Privacy Policy.  Sponsor is collecting personal data about the winners for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and marketing communications.  No further communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide Sponsor with permission to do so.
